We are seeking a driven, orthopaedic surgery sports medicine-focused Physician Assistant to join a high-performance sports medicine practice dedicated to keeping athletes healthy, resilient, and competing at their best. This role offers hands-on collaboration with Dr. Catherine Logan, caring for athletes across all levels—from high school to collegiate and active adults—with a strong emphasis on surgical care, optimizing recovery, and safe return to sport. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, understands the demands of competition, and is energized by helping athletes navigate injury, rehabilitation, and performance with confidence.

- Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Colorado (required)
- Full-time with benefits
- Experience in sports medicine and orthopaedics preferred
- Assist in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries
- Perform and assist with procedures (e.g., injections, aspirations, PRP/Biologics)
- First assist in the operating room, experience in graft preparation is beneficial
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and physical therapists
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, recovery, and return-to-sport plans
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Strong communication skills with athletes, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for athlete care, performance, and recovery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Monday through Friday work schedule
- $120-130K base + bonus structure

Requirements
Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Colorado (required)
Strong interest or experience in orthopaedic sports medicine
Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries
Experience assisting with or performing sports medicine procedures (e.g., injections, aspirations, casting/splinting)
Comfortable working with athletes across all levels (youth, high school, collegiate, adult)
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary sports medicine team (physicians, ATs, PTs, coaches)
Strong communication skills with athletes, families, and care teams
Efficient and accurate clinical documentation in EMR systems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
Passion for return-to-sport decision making, injury prevention, and athlete education
Strong professionalism, work ethic, and adaptability
